Lauren (she/her) is an Associate at Davis Pier and has a background in implementation science, health services, and qualitative research. At Davis Pier, Lauren has applied her knowledge and skills to support implementation initiatives in home care services. With research experience in continuing care and integrated care systems, Lauren is passionate about applying evidence-based solutions to complex health problems and planning for sustainability and scale-up of successful initiatives.
Lauren holds a PhD in Health Services Research from the University of Toronto, Masters in Family Studies and Gerontology from Mount Saint Vincent University, and Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Waterloo. Lauren has held national and provincial funding awards, including a SSHRC Doctoral Award and Ontario Graduate Scholarship. Throughout her graduate studies, Lauren was a trainee in a pan-Canadian research program called Translating Research in Elder Care.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time in the garden, trying new wines, and doing paint by numbers.
