Abena (she/her) is a Research Analyst at Pier Labs, with skills in quantitative analysis and mixed methods research. Motivated by her passion for addressing socio-economic issues and igniting positive change in society, Abena’s research spans economic development, immigration, labour economics, and poverty and inequality. At Pier Labs, Abena applies her problem-solving skills, analytical nature, and curiosity to support diverse projects and contribute innovative ideas at Pier Labs.
Abena holds a Master of Development Economics from Dalhousie University, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance with First Class Honours from the University of Surrey (UK).
Outside work, Abena enjoys engaging in indoor activities like watching movies and sharing meaningful moments with her family and friends.
