The Aurum Awards were held during Dal Alumni Days. Each year, many incredible Dal alumni are nominated by their peers and winners are selected by the Dalhousie Alumni Association. This year, our own Mike Davis was among the 2024 recipients.
Mike’s leadership has carved out a unique market position for Davis Pier as a social impact agency and certified B Corp that also happens to be a consulting firm. We may operate in the private sector, but Mike’s leadership is delivering on a vision that puts purpose before profit—focusing on community impact and well-being as measures of business health and success.
The Aurum Awards are Dalhousie University’s flagship alumni awards program, honouring community-minded innovators and visionaries who are making a difference around the world. Each year, alumni are recognized for their outstanding achievements in innovation, community engagement, and leadership, as well as for their contributions to the social, cultural, and economic well-being of society.
