Johana (she/her) is a Community Engagement Lead at Davis Pier with over fifteen years of experience working on complex and transformational projects. She has extensive experience designing and implementing programs, services, and cultural change within the community and social services sector and she is passionate about better supporting underrepresented and underserved communities. Johana also has expertise in engaging across government and community—her approach is adaptive, solution-focused, and places emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Johana holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering, a graduate diploma in Community Development, and a Master of Science in Family Ecology from the University of Alberta. She is also a Prosci-certified Change Management Practitioner and is trained in The Art of Hosting and Participatory Leadership.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and finding moments to connect with loved ones.
