Lara is an Analyst at Davis Pier, with an innovative mindset, people-focused approach, and a passion for bettering the world. Her experience spans multiple industries in both South Africa & Canada. She has honed her skills across disciplines in Marketing & Student Engagement with university students, as an Account Executive in traditional advertising communications, and as a Junior Behavioral Strategist, where her skills in consumer behaviour, UX optimization, and strategic communications first developed.
Lara holds an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing & Advertising Communications from Red & Yellow Creative School of Business and a BA in Law with Psychology and Economics from Stellenbosch University in South Africa. Outside of her formal education, Lara’s commitment to giving back has developed over a lifetime of volunteering with animals, environmental protection and youth education.
Outside of work, Lara enjoys spending time with her family and pets, exploring the natural beauty of Nova Scotia, and travelling to experience new cultures in all parts of the word.
