Shaune is Chief of Staff to President and CEO, Mike Davis and the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Davis Pier. She previously served as Chief of Staff to former Halifax Mayor Mike Savage, managed public affairs for Halifax Regional Municipality, and was a spokesperson in public education. The first chapter of her career was in journalism where she covered municipal government, health policy, and education—interests that continue to shape her work.
Shaune holds degrees in English (Honours) and Journalism from University of King’s College at Dalhousie University. She also completed the Bloomberg-Harvard City Leadership Initiative, a year-long program for municipal leaders.
Outside of work Shaune spends time painting, hiking, and volunteering as Vice Chair of the North Grove Board of Directors.
